There are only a few places on earth that offer quiet solitude with prime fishing and that’s what you’ll find at Shoal Lake Lodge. Nestled on the shores of Shoal Lake, we offer modern conveniences set in the pristine Canadian wilderness with fabulous views of the lake and its many islands. Quiet, peaceful, and a fun place with unmatched fishing is how our clientèle describe us.
We have a Main Lodge that serves breakfast and dinner and offers a Saturday Welcome Barbecue for all guests. The Main Lodge is conveniently located to our 6 Cabins for easy access. You’ll enjoy this beautiful timber frame building with an all wood interior that’s warm and inviting. WIFI is available for guests and there’s a fireplace for added warmth.
Our 6 cabins can accommodate 2-8 people and each cabin is waterfront with a private deck and views of Shoal Lake. The cabins are situated apart from one another to add privacy for our guests. Each cabin has a complete kitchen, full bathroom, and a cozy living room with a wood stove and tv/dvds. The kitchens are equipped with a full-size refrigerator, utensils, toaster, and coffee pot. Several of the cabins have their own dock for guests who bring along their boats.
We also have a Games Room near the Main Lodge that’s complete with satellite TV to catch that game, VCR, and a selection of movies. This is the place to relax and enjoy board games, card games, puzzles, books, ping pong, darts, and a foosball soccer table. The Games Room is a popular spot and you’ll meet other guests here to swap fish tales.
Shoal Lake Lodge offers guided and unguided boats, however, we do recommend guided boats. Our guides are local fisherman from the area who know the best spots to fish and will help you with your catch. There’s an abundance of fish available on Shoal Lake including Northern Pike, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass and our guides know how to catch them!
