Mountain View Camp

Blind River Fishing, Hunting & Cottages

If you’re looking to spend some time outdoors, look no further than Mountain View Camp! Set on Lake Duborne, also known as Lake of the Mountains, there’s something to do for everyone in the family. Hit the water and drop your line in our amazing waters, populated with species like northern pike, lake trout, bass, perch and walleye. Don’t miss the salmon (pink and king) and smelt runs, either! With depths of up to 115 feet, there are challenges for anglers of any level. Into hunting? We coordinate both spring and fall bear hunts in our large bear management area. We start our baiting weeks ahead of the hunt, using only sweets, and hunters enjoy success rates of over 90%. Other small game hunting is available as well, like partridge, grouse and deer.

Come up during the winter and see the sights on snowmobile, cross country skis or snowshoeing! We also offer ice fishing opportunities and hare hunting (on snowshoe). When you’re ready to take a load off, you’ll be able to in one of our comfortable cottages, available in two or three bedroom sizes. With hot and cold water, stoves, fridges and more, you’ll be well set. Bring your own boat or rent from us, bring your RV or stay with us — any way you like, we’ll make sure you have a great stay!
