For anglers, watching walleye come right up to the boat is a sight not soon forgotten. Bring a video camera to show friends who think that you are spinning a “fish story”. If a hunter goes home empty handed, it is because he didn’t go hunting. Chapleau is home to the largest black bear concentration in Canada.
