Missinaibi Outfitters is located in Mattice in Ontario’s North!
We offer Housekeeping fishing packages at our main base or outposts. Our main base is located on the Missinaibi River. This river has excellent structure for walleye and bass and there are weed beds along the shore with deep drop-offs for huge northern pike. Shallow Lake contains Jumbo Perch, Walleye, Pike, and some Smallmouth Bass. It provides non-stop perch action that is ideal for children of all ages.
Our outpost camp is the only cabin on Mons and Dumbell Lakes. Mons and Dumbell Lakes are in the Arctic watershed and are the remote headwaters of the Opasatika River. These lakes contain Walleye, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch. Most of the streams in the area contain Brook Trout.
We also offer a bear hunt at the main base or bear and moose hunt at the outposts.
The wild, beautiful and unspoiled Missinaibi River is one of the longest (501 km) natural rivers found in North America. The Missinaibi offers challenging rapids for experienced canoeists and portage trails for those less experienced. The average width of the river around Mattice is around 300 yards. This river offers a wide variety of opportunities for wildlife and landscape photography.
