Green Wilderness Lodge offers fully-equipped cottages which can sleep from four to as many as 10 or 13 people. These cottages include a three-piece bath, hot and running water, complete bedding and pillows, as well as a kitchen complete with a refrigerator, counter top stove and cooking and eating utensils. Best of all, every cottage overlooks Lake Mattagami, ensuring that you have a superb view.

Surrounded by 40 miles of open waterways, Green Wilderness Lodge is a regular mecca for fishing enthusiasts because of the area’s abundance of Walleye, Northern Pike, Whitefish, Smallmouth Bass and Perch. In addition, Green Wilderness Lodge offers a variety of convenient and affordable fishing/cottage packages for its guests. The Seven Day Package includes, in addition to cottage accommodations, a 14-foot, 15-horsepower Yamaha boat and motor with swivel seats, sub-floor, a fish finder and a live well.

There are also a number of other fishing/cottage packages available. One popular option is the American Plan, which includes full breakfast and supper meals, a boat and motor for every two persons, gas and 24 minnows or worms per day.  There are three and four day, mid-week and seasonal packages as well.

Green Wilderness Lodge is not only a haven for anglers; it’s also a favorite stop for hikers.
