Golden Eagle Camp and Outfitting is a four-season resort that provides access to numerous outdoor activities such as ATVing, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. Set along the shores of Sidney Creek it offers a spectacular view of the Northern Ontario backwoods. A wilderness of Jackpine and spruce surrounds the facilities, which are anything but primitive. 10 fully equipped cottages provide visitors with all modern amenities. From microwave ovens to refrigerators, BBQs to linens, everything you need, other than towels, can be found in your comfortable living quarters. If solitude is what you are after reserve the boat-in cabin, which is set off on its own. It is found far from everything else, offering you isolation and privacy.
Hunters will find plenty of upland game territory to explore. Professional tours are organized for those in search of black bear, grouse or moose. All you need to do is show up ready to get out on the trail. The fisherman in you will be tempted by Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye in well stocked lakes. Cast, troll, jig or fly fish to your heart’s content. Whether you are after something for dinner or a trophy to hang on your wall, the fish are biting. Licenses for both hunting and fishing can be purchased at the well stocked general store.
Of course, not every one comes for the hunting and fishing. The area is filled with ATV and snowmobile trails. You can spend days exploring the woods, lakes and other terrain and barely touch all that is accessible, and in the evening, ride right up to your cabin and park your sled or ATV for the night. Fuel for your vehicles is available on site.
If you just want to relax you can spend time at the safe beach. Your kids are sure to enjoy the water slide, the swimming area and the playground. Laundry facilities and public showers and washrooms are available for your use and you can even relax after a long day out in the woods in our sauna.
