Ellen Island Camp is a remote wilderness fishing lodge located on the beautiful unspoiled waters of Lady Evelyn Lake. This quiet retreat is on a 17 acre island with no road access to the lake. Located just 2 ½ hours north of North Bay, the lake is well known for its clean water and abundance of Walleye, Pike and Small Mouth Bass Fishing. The unspoiled wilderness around Lady Evelyn Lake is just minutes north of the world renowned Temagami area. Ellen Island Camp prides itself on its friendly customer service and its large cozy comfortable cottages. This unique wilderness setting will provide you with all the comforts of home for your fishing vacation.

Our housekeeping fishing packages allow our guests to come and go as they please and not be on a schedule for meals. After all, nobody wants to leave the fishing hole when the fish are biting. Fishing packages run from Saturday to Saturday however 3 or 4 night stays are available upon request. Our cottages come fully equipped with propane appliances, bedding, dishes, utensils, pots & pans; just bring your grub and beverages and for relaxing at any time all cottages have large screened in porches overlooking the lake.

If you are up for an added adventure why not hike into one of our back lakes or creeks to try some great fishing for Small Mouth Bass, Lake Trout, Speckled Trout, Rainbow Trout or Northern Pike. We will make sure you are fully equipped for your adventure and provide you with everything you need.

Lady Evelyn Lake provides breath taking scenery with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Experience some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world right from your front porch with the sun setting over Maple Mountain on the horizon.

Lady Evelyn Lake is one of very few large lakes in North Eastern Ontario that is still classified as being remote with no road access. The lake covers an area roughly 23,000 acres with close to 500 miles of wilderness shoreline to explore.
