Camp Waterfall
Kenora and Lake of the Woods area Fishing and Cottage Resort
For families, couples and individuals who are looking for a quiet, secluded “little piece of heaven”, the place to go is Camp Waterfall in Kenora, Ontario. Founded back in the late nineteen thirties as a fishing camp, Camp Waterfall is a beautiful resort with fun-packed action for families and serious fishing adventures for angers of all ages and levels of experience.
Camp Waterfall captures the scenic and flowing Rushing River, which winds throughout the resort. Along the river is a falls. At the bottom of the falls, there is a natural whirlpool that sooths and comforts the body. A diving board and a twenty-foot slide enables guests to commute from the top of the falls, where there is a wading area for families and young kids, to the base and the whirlpool.
Each cottage at Camp Waterfall resort is wonderfully equipped for each guest. Modern bathrooms with showers, kitchens with appliances including pots and pans, indoor heating and so much more make the stay quite enjoyable. Cottages are available for one, two or three rooms.
During Camp Waterfall’s fishing season, anglers of all abilities have the wonderful opportunity to catch trophy fish in the lakes around the resort. Some of the trophy candidates include Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass and Crappies. For folks who do not have boats, rentals are available. Maps of the lakes and friendly tips are available to catch the trophy fish. Camp Waterfall has a fish-cleaning house and a freezer available to store the prized fish.
