Surrounded by blue lakes and beautiful forestry is Mountain View Camp. It sits 8 miles North of Blind River, Ontario at the end of Lake of the Mountains, which is locally known as Lake Duborne. It is known for its amazing topography and scenery in the area. Lake Duborne is 5 1/2 miles long and many of our guest fish for northern pike, pickerel, bass and lake trout. We have boat and motors for rent or you can bring your own.

With seven furnished cottages and RV/ tenting areas close to the lake, there’s room for everyone and activities for everyone as well. During the summer many people enjoy fishing, miles of hiking trails to scenic lookouts. Canoeing and kayaking is also another favorite among our guest, or you can sit back and relax in the sun on the lake.
The beach and swimming platform area is definitely a favorite for adults and children, Smaller children love the sand and shallow water. In the evening you can sit around your fire pit and watch the sun set beneath the horizon of Fire Tower Mountain. You haven’t seen anything like this before.
In the fall is bear our season. With a high experience of baiting and hunting them, the take home rate of a bear for hunters is very high. This is also another enjoyable time for the whole family.
This is a beautiful area with amazing weather. With plants, animals and scenery only found in Northern Ontario, it’s a place like no other. We hope to see you soon!
